Howie had his eye removed yesterday. They sent the tumour away to be biopsied, but we're confident that it was removed before it spread, so he should be OK now. We brought him home this morning and he really seems quite fine. He has a morphine patch, which I'm sure helps. We need to keep him very quiet for the next little while, which is already proving challenging. Dogs are truly amazing creatures. I can't imagine a person begging to go for a run on the beach (not allowed) the day after going through so much.
